Father's Birthday

It is my father's birthday and I got sick. Yesterday, we were at Baskin Robbin's getting a cake and we got some ice cream, and I forgot my brother still had gastroenteritis, and I decided to taste some of his ice cream. I feel so stupid! The next day (today) I ended up feeling weird. I was at first tired, but I ignored it because I usually don't get enough sleep. Then I started feeling nauseated during 2nd hour, I ignored that because I have a nausea problem and my appointment isn't till next month. 3rd hour, I started getting stomach pain. Now, I didn't eat anything at all! At all! So, I got a little suspicious. I held on for a little bit and as I got down to lunch, I dropped my stuff by my best friend and ran off to the bathroom. I came back a few minutes later, and sat at the table with nothing to eat. I rested my head on the table and I texted my mother during lunch, and she said to go to the nurse's office. In my school, the nurse's office is called the "clinic." So, I went there and there were a few kids already there. I stayed there for almost an hour. I almost fell asleep in the chair, and the nurse asked how I felt. I still felt nauseated, and she gave me a peppermint. My mother finally came and I left the school. Now, when I got home, I saw my father's birthday cake. I almost forgot about his birthday. Luckily, at the last minute, I made him a lion picture. The lion is roarin and it says:
Have a Roarin Birthday Happy Birthday Daddy.
When I finished the picture, I started crying. I felt bad that he didn't have much of a good birthday. And I really wanted to make it up to him, because his kids are sick. I was just glad he didn't see me crying, because when I went up to give hi the picture, he was watching Big Bang Theory and working on his new laptop. Plus, my mother was sleeping, so it was pretty dark. He said he would bring the picture to work with him, which made me leave the room to cry even more. I love my father very much, and he deserves the best from his family.
